A place with ancient roots.
From Watching Tower overlooking Florence through the Ema Valley, to Convent in the XIII Century and then Agricultural Estate since 1820. Tenuta La Novella has a fascinating history that can be discovered joining one of our tours.
WHO WE ARE
The Founders
The Schneider Family fell in love with the estate in 1996 and since then it has been taking care of it with the deepest passion.
In 2015 they chose the Winemaker Simone Zemella to join them in the management of La Novella, and since then he has been guiding the estate towards an ever increasing success thanks to the choice of Low Intervention techniques and the adoption of Biodynamic practices since 2018.
The wines of Tenuta La Novella are now deeply connected to the terroir where they are born, reflecting the most authentic expression of each vineyard.

Our history and exclusive location, surrounded by forests and highly biodiverse bushes, allow us to achieve the top quality in wine making while preserving the environment.
After decades of abandonment, when François Schneider purchased our land in 1996, he decided to adopt the Organic Certification right from the start. In other words, our soils have never been polluted by hard chemicals.
The land we work is under our sole custody. It is our responsibility to pass it on to future generations as it was passed on to us, avoiding any practices that could harm it.
